Do you think Jay-Z made a list and counted all of his problems before coming out with the song? And, if so, do you think they were real problems, or just silly things like "I spilled mustard on my favourite pants"?
I do think he made a list when making this song, thus he wrote the song and I think that less than half of them were of a trivial nature like spilling mustard (or relish) on his favourite pants.
Or do you think it was the kind of problem that seems end-of-the-world serious at the time, thereby prompting you to write a song about it, something you feel maybe a teensy bit silly about later, when something truly problematic comes up, like spilling mustard on your favourite pants.

I see him more of a relish guy, actually.

You and I have posted about the same song, take a look. What a coincidence since it is kind of old. This comment is also a link btw.
I also posted about it here. Well, kind of.
