I see him more of a relish guy, actually.
I do think he made a list when making this song, thus he wrote the song and I think that less than half of them were of a trivial nature like spilling mustard (or relish) on his favourite pants.
You and I have posted about the same song, take a look. What a coincidence since it is kind of old. This comment is also a link btw.

Or do you think it was the kind of problem that seems end-of-the-world serious at the time, thereby prompting you to write a song about it, something you feel maybe a teensy bit silly about later, when something truly problematic comes up, like spilling mustard on your favourite pants.
